Torry Holt is considered one of the best receivers in NFL history who got snubbed once again in 2022 when the Hall of Fame announced the Class of 2022 on Thursday. Torry was one of the eight members elected to Canton and was a semifinalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame eight times.

Torry Holt was first selected in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft as the sixth overall pick by the St. Louis Rams, and he was able to post 53 receptions, 788 total yards, and six touchdowns on the way to the Super Bowl XXXIV championship in his rookie seasons.

Torry Holt caught 920 passes for 13,382 yards and 74 touchdowns while averaging 14.5 yards per catch throughout his 10 years long career with the Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars. He has the 16th most receiving yards in NFL history and was one of the just five players in history with multiple 1,600 receiving yard seasons. He was a seven-time Pro Bowler in 2000,2001, and 2003-2007.

He became a free agent in 2010 after he was cut on 13 February 2009 by the Rams as he didn't sign an extension with them. He joined with the Jaguars, overshadowed by Mike Sims-Walker, who was surprisingly cut after the Jags released Holt.

Torry Holt first signed a 5-year contract of $10,000,000 with the St. Louis Rams in 1999. Then he extended his contract for seven years with The Rams in 2003, where he was given $12,500,000 as a signing bonus. During his retirement, he signed a one-day contract with The Rams to officially retire as a Ram.
