Editorial and Fact-Checking Policy
GlamourBiz has operated as an entertainment news organization since 2017. This page explains how we research, write, verify, and correct the content we publish.
1. Who Writes Our Content
Every article published on GlamourBiz is written by a named member of our editorial staff. Our current team includes Preeti Bhatta (Senior Editor), Ashley James (Entertainment Journalist), Meena (Entertainment Correspondent), Sabina (Entertainment Writer), and Munaf Ali (Lead Researcher and Writer). Author names appear on every article we publish.
We do not publish content from anonymous sources or unverified contributors. If a byline appears on GlamourBiz, that person is a verified member of our team.
2. How We Research and Verify
Primary sources first. For biographical articles, we verify dates, relationships, and career milestones against official statements, court records, verified social media accounts, and reporting from established outlets including TMZ, People, E! News, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, and Billboard.
We do not scrape. Our writers read and manually verify each piece of information before it enters an article. We do not copy-paste from other sites or aggregate without independent verification.
Financial estimates. Net worth figures published on GlamourBiz are editorial estimates based on publicly available information about career earnings, business holdings, and media reporting. We clearly label these as estimates, not confirmed figures.
Quotes. Every direct quote attributed to a named individual is sourced from a verifiable interview, statement, or publication. We do not paraphrase and present it as a direct quote.
3. Our AI Policy
GlamourBiz uses AI tools for research assistance only — to surface source material, check factual consistency, and identify gaps in coverage.
We do not publish AI-generated editorial text. Every sentence in every article is written or substantially rewritten by a human editor on our staff. No article is published without human review.
We use AI-assisted imagery for featured illustrations where no verified photograph is available. These images are used for representational purposes only and are never presented as authentic photographs of real events.
4. Breaking News Standards
When we cover breaking stories — arrests, deaths, cancellations, legal filings — we publish only what has been confirmed by at least one named, verifiable source. We clearly label developing situations as developing. We update articles as confirmed information becomes available and note significant updates at the top of the article with a timestamp.
5. Corrections Policy
We make mistakes. When we do, we fix them.
Minor factual errors (incorrect dates, misspelled names, inaccurate figures) are corrected silently within the article body. The article's Last Updated timestamp reflects the correction.
Significant factual errors (incorrect core claims, misattributed quotes, substantially wrong information) are corrected with a visible Correction Note at the bottom of the article explaining what was wrong and what the correct information is.

6. Independence and Commercial Policy
GlamourBiz does not accept payment for editorial coverage. We do not publish paid celebrity profiles, sponsored bios, or commercially motivated articles disguised as journalism.
Advertising, when it appears on the site, is clearly separated from editorial content and does not influence our reporting decisions.
We follow the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) Code of Ethics.
