Once again, the boxing world is facing the biggest moment in its history. And the world will watch the battle between two of the world's elite boxers, Roy Jones Jr. vs. Mike Tyson. The two legends will come face to face in an eight-round exhibition match on 12 September 2020 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

Roy Jones Jr., who stands at the height of 5 feet and 9 inches tall, opened up about his upcoming match against one of the insane fighters of the world, Mike Tyson. He shared a picture of himself and Tyson on his Instagram and captioned:

"I am happy that this fight between me and Mike Tyson will happen! I was always ready and will be ready this time as well. I want all my fans to support me and tune in. Its gonna be epic."

Similarly, Mike Tyson revealed that he would be on the ring against another all-time great boxer Roy Jones Jr. and it is set to be one of the greatest fights of history. There were some talks of Mike Tyson's return in boxing after a series of his training videos came out in public. Tyson, who is now retired, finished the first year of his professional career with a record of 15-0, all wins by knockout. His total career record is 50-6. His last match dates back to 2005 against Kevin McBride.

Similarly, Roy Jones Jr. is a former four-division World Champion sporting a 66-9 record. He won the matches in 2017 and 2018 when he was in his 75th pro fight.

Besides the professional boxers, The California State Athletic Commission also confirmed the forthcoming match to the Sky Sports. The commission released a statement which read:

"Mr. Tyson and Mr. Jones Jr will have to submit all CSAC medical tests for fighters over 40 as well as CSAC's emergency regulations that have been put in place to slow the spread of COVID-19."

The referee of the match will have the authority to stop the fight if it goes outside the boundaries of the competitive boxing exhibition.
