The Twitter feud between former NBA player Kendrick Perkins and Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant is getting nasty.

It all started with Kendrick Perkins's tweet on 9 January 2020, where he stated Russell Westbrook is 'Mr. Thunder' and the best player to put on the Oklahoma Thunder Jersey. While Kendrick praised Russell, his former teammate, Kevin Durant, did not agree with him, which sources claimed it as an implicit shot at Durant’s legacy in Oklahoma City.

Kevin Durant, too, came on field the discussion and criticized Kendrick's gaming while they were teammates. However, Kendrick was fast to respond and talked about the matter with a logical tweet. He mentioned:

"Kevin Durant lost in the second round without Russ when I was there. So what that means?"

Kevin replied to Kendrick's attack stating that he (Kendrick) averaged a whopping 2 points and three rebounds during that season though he played hard. Later, Kendrick called Kevin 'weak' for joining Golden State Warriors, which Kevin backfired, stating 'Weak is starting at center, playing real minutes with no production.'

Furthermore, he mentioned Kendrick should have worked on his skills as much as he (Kevin) did.

Kendrick and Kevin, the former teammates, were seen tweeting each other with their career productivity and responding to their fans.
