The former NBA Player and the ESPN personality Jay Williams tweeted on 3 September 2020, citing that Lebron James played the "Pippen" role to Dwyane Wade in Miami. And James responded with the equivalent of your favorite "wut" GIF.

Later, Jay Willaims came to clarify his statement, where he wrote:

"I never stated you were anyone other than LBJ. I know who you are & I have also publicly stated where I stand on your place in history. I was describing a feat that you accomplished in order to be where you are today in relation to where Giannis currently is. We all learn & grow."

Lebron James replied with:

"Explain to me what the fux I gotta do with this subject matter! I’m over here minding my damn business preparing for Houston. And by the way I ain’t never been nobody but my damn self! Shit!"

The incident is a likening of a tweet of Richard Jefferson, former NBA player and current analyst, who mentioned that Giannis Antetokounmpo might be a Scottie Pippen-esque player. Also, Jefferson implied that the Greek Freak might need the superstar such as Michael Jordan to play the lead role alongside him, after which Jay Williams came on his Twitter.
