Science is a combination of enormous theory and practicality that is the same in all of its subsidiaries, including physics, chemistry, astronomy, and its branches. And sometimes astrology can be wondering and wowing fact for us to know about the living Earth, our milky way galaxy, and many other hidden worlds in the universe.

Now, there is a new great achievement. The closest black hole to the Earth in the solar system has been discovered, thanks to the astronomers who did an excellent task of finding it out. It is named HR 6819, situated in distressingly fitting metaphor.

How Far Is Black Hole HR 6819 Triple System From Milky Way Galaxy?

Astronomers, who have been working in finding out the mysteries in the space, mention that they found a new and closest black hole to Earth's solar system named HR 6819 triple system. NASA discloses the news in the scientific journal Astronomy & Astrophysics on the 6th of May 2020.

As per the reports, HR 6819 triple system is four times bigger than the Sun, and it is 1,011 light-years away from the living Earth. Petr Hadrava, co-author of the emeritus scientist at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic mentions:

"We were totally surprised when we realized that this is the first stellar system with a black hole that can be seen with the unaided eye."

Scientists tracking two stars orbiting each other outside the gravitational pull of the black hole with a super telescope at the European Southern Observatory's La Silla Observatory in Chile is the help of finding out the out-of-this-world discovery in the Telescopium constellation.

As per the researchers, HR 6819 triple system is equal in the size of the black hole that was discovered in the Milky Way Galaxy and is 25 million light-years from Earth's solar system.

What Is Black Hole?

Black Hole is a kind of portal. It is a place in outer space where gravity pull is of more excellent range, more than the neutron stars, which have an escape velocity of around 100,000 km/s, about a third of the speed of Light. So, even a faster thing of the universe, Light, can not escape from its gravitational pull.

Generally, Black Holes forms when stars die. They are invisible as no light can get out of it, and are explored with the help of scientific gears like space tools and telescopes.

Black Holes can be of all sizes. The smallest Black Holes scientists found is of the size of an atom; however, it has the mass of a huge mountain. The 'Stellar' one of the kind of black holes is 20 times bigger than the Sun.

The most massive black holes are known as 'supermassive.' Their size equals to more than 1 million times of Sun's mass. As per the scientific studies, every sizeable black hole has a supermassive in its center, like planets have the Sun in its center.
