Sam Raimi Announced The Production Of Spider-Man 4, But It Was Cancelled Later; Sam In Talks To Directing Doctor Strange 2?

The Spider-Man and Spider-Man-2 amassed considerable successes throughout the time in comparison to Spider-Man-3. Despite the mixed reaction of fans concerning the movie, Spider-Man-3, Sam Raimi worked out to bring the fourth part of the comic book series movie into the business, projecting the release date in May 2011.

However, he backed off his plans on making the sequel, but any fans still think what Spider-Man 4 would be like.

As per the comic book Spider-Man-4 Villains: Vulture, Black Cat & Mysterio, the movie would have featured multiple enemies. But the idea was to take back to what worked in the first two parts of the sequel. In the fourth part of Spider-Man would feature John Malkovich as Vulture and Anne Hathaway as Felicia Hardy, the newcomer in the franchise.

Nevertheless, Spider-Man-4 got off from the industry and will always be tagged with the condition 'What If?". Sources revealed that Sam Raimi was unable to crack the story after setting the release date in May 2011.

The Spider-Man-4 was the chance to rebound and bring the sequel in track again, but Sam did not have faith and did not want to hurt the franchise's legacy more.

To date, there is no news of continuing Spider-Man franchise but it looks like movie fanatics may see the sequel of Doctor Strange. Reportedly, Sam is in talks with directing Doctor Strange 2. Marvel has yet to comment on this.
