Everyone in this world has their own story. Some get highlighted, and some just fizzle out in the morning breeze. But some of them will get through your brains, making you believe in some magical fantasy or something absurd.

The eight-times Mr. Olympia winner Ronnie Coleman's story might be the same for many people. His bodybuilding story has already mesmerized the American comedian and media personality, Joe Rogan, and it can be the same in your case too. Because the journey Ronnie Coleman has navigated throughout the years is likely absurd.

During The Joe Rogan Experience, the living hulk mentioned the fact about his bodybuilding journey. 'I didn't get there overnight,' he mentioned. He further said:

"I put on … between five and 10 pounds (2-4.5kg) of muscle a year, and that came from all that heavy lifting (and) a lot of eating, a lot of eating." It wasn't a lot to me but if someone normal tried to eat it, it would probably be a lot," he said. "So I'd eat a pound (450g) of chicken, grilled breast with half a cup of rice.

"I had about six meals a day. It's kind of hard to eat like that so I would have to wake up in the middle of the night to eat and go back to sleep."

That appears excellent, but do you believe that Ronnie Coleman started lifting weights and competing to get a free gym membership? That's insane. And the craziest thing about his body is his fat level reached 0.33 percent making his arms measuring at 61cm and a 150cm chest.

On the other side, his overgrowing muscle size had side effects as well. He mentioned that he suffered injuries in his back and other parts of the body leading him to thirteen surgeries in his back, neck, and hips. Also, he had a herniated disc that required proper surgery. He even has a herniated disc now that is yet to get medically treated.

The bodybuilder said he has fourteen screws, two cages, two rods, and a lot of hardware in his neck and back.

Ronnie Coleman's Net Worth In 2020

Ronnie Coleman is a millionaire and one of the wealthiest bodybuilders. As of 2020, he has a net worth of $2 million, which he derives from bodybuilding. He trained and got a lifetime membership by Brian Dobson.

Ronnie's initial winnings include the heavyweight and overall categories at the Mr. Texas competition and Russian Grand Prix (1997). Similarly, he is a recipient of the 2001 Admiral in the Texas Navy Certificate Award. Moreover, he won Mr. Olympia for eight consecutive times. He also holds a record of 26 wins as an IBBF professional.

Before bodybuilding, Ronnie served as a police officer in Texas for over a decade from 1989 to 2000. He also played football at Grambling State University during his academic years.

Ronnie Coleman's Workout

Ronnie Coleman got involved in bodybuilding and workout for an extended period.

The concentration that he pours into the fitness world has cost him several injuries, though. However, despite the injury, he is a tough guy, and just looking at his physique, we can assume the level of workouts he goes through, even in the present context.

As per Ronnie's workout routine, he works 3-4 times a day with a custom-schedule. It includes all the gym sessions of Biceps, backs, triceps, shoulders, chest, calves, and legs. Ronnie's routine suggests that his Monday workout schedule includes back, biceps, and shoulders.

He leaves legs for Tuesday, chest, and triceps for Wednesday. And on Thursday, Ronnie starts the cycle again.
