Rapper Mike Jones is trending this week, thanks to Lamar Jackson.

It all started when a USA Today reporter asked Lamar a question after the Titans game. You may be thinking, "WHO?" But, not that Mike Jones.

It turns out, this Mike Jones is an NFL writer for USA Today.

As the NFL beat writer, Mike Jones tried to ask Jackson about a losing streak suffered by the Ravens earlier in the season, Jackson tried to suppress a smile. But then he couldn’t hold it back.

"Mike Joooooones," Jackson said, imitating the rapper’s self-referential refrain. "That’s lit right there. I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Go ahead."

Jones clearly had heard the reference a few million times as he chuckled at Jackson’s hip hop reference before continuing with his question.

When someone asked Jones how he didn’t crack up laughing, he made it obvious he’s not new to this.

Perhaps you, like Head Coach John Harbaugh, were a little confused.

"I'm going to get a Mike Jones album or something, see what this Mike Jones is about," Harbaugh said. "He seems like he's popular."
