Recently, HBO dropped the new trailer for the upcoming series entitled 'I May Destroy You.' Michaela Coel, the creator of raunchy Brit comedy, 'Chewing Gum' brought the series, which navigates the local waters of sexual consent, sources reveal.

The trailer of the series showcases Arabella's world filled with drinking and partying stuff. However, the trailer does not show the sexual assault, but there is more to know about her life than we presume now.

The plot of I May Destroy You cites that Arabella becomes sexually assaulted at a night club, and her life changes, and eventually, she is compelled to reassess her everything, including her career, friends, as well as family.

Nevertheless, Michaela begins the journey of self-discovery in the series.

She Previously Appeared On 'Chewing Gum' And 'Black Earth Rising'

On Chewing Gum, Michaela Coel starred as Tracey. She appeared in the series from 2015 to 2017 in 12 episodes alongside Danielle Waters, Robert Lonsdale, Shola Adewusi, and many other artists. Her character showed the acting presence with a desire to lose virginity for a couple of seasons.

Michaela, who also wrote the series Chewing Gum, however, will not be bringing its third season. She revealed the news by stating that the series is officially over, which is devastating. Talking to the Vulture, she requested the fans to get over the truth.

Michaela was also the Black Earth Rising cast, where she starred as Kate Ashby, an adopted daughter of Eve Ashby in the series. In the whole series plot, she deals with her ghosts. However, she stands with a question when her adoptive mother takes on the prosecution of a warlord who recruited child soldiers in Congo.
