Da Vinci Code Author Dan Brown Settles Lawsuit Allegations Regarding His Secret Life

The Da Vinci Code author Dan Brown was alleged to have a secret life that included several affairs during his marriage with his ex-wife, Blythe Brown. Blythe Brown, his ex-wife had filed a lawsuit against him alleging him for secret affairs and called his behavior unlawful and egregious in 2020. She further accused him of secretly diverting funds to pay for gifts to an unnamed horse trainer.

Blythe Brown also claimed that the author hid scores of future projects worth millions from her and asked for credit for his inspiring his work The Da Vinci Code. However, the author had called the complaint written without regard for the truth and said that he never misled his ex-wife on their finances during their divorce and that she ended up with half of their holdings.

At last, the author, Dan Brown decided to settle the lawsuit and the couple agreed to voluntarily dismiss the lawsuit. According to court papers filed Monday in a New Hampshire court, the couple agreed to dismiss any further and all claims along with counterclaims in this matter.

His ex-wife’s attorney stated, “Blythe Brown and Dan Brown have reached an amicable resolution of their disagreements, and will have no further comment. They request that their desire for privacy and closure be respected.”

In 2020, his ex-wife, Blythe Brown, had sued Dan Brown for having extramarital affairs with four women, one of them was her horse trainer, and secretly plundering significant sums of their marital assets.

The author had also talked about his ex-wife’s allegations and said, “She was throwing everything at the wall, hoping something would stick. We both know why she was upset and she had a right to be, but we were lonely and we looked for fulfillment in other places.”

Dan also added that his ex-wife received half of everything and she was shocked that she was coming back for more and said, “I completely dispute her account of what happened. It’s all been pretty sobering.”

It was also revealed that Dan had gifted the horse trainer a Fresian horse worth $350,000 called LimiTed Edition.
