Mythbusters's co-host Adam Savage was accused by his sister, Pacchiana, of rape allegation under the New York Child Victims Act. According to the document, Pacchiana was 7 to 10 years old while Adam was 9 to 12 years old at the alleged abuse and lived in Sleepy Hollow, New York.
In the statement, Pachchiana claims that Adam forced oral sex and performed other forms of sexual abuse. She also posted on her blog saying:
“The public needs to know that Adam Savage sexually abused me when I was a child, as outlined in the lawsuit that I have finally been able to bring after all of these years.”
On the contrary, Adam denied the allegations and said his sister relentlessly attacked him and his family members by spreading untrue stories.
Their mother, Karen Savage, also came to Adam's defense and support and stated:
“It makes me very sad to say this, but my daughter suffers from severe mental health challenges, and it’s devastating that she’s putting Adam and our entire family through this. Adam is a good man, and I support him completely.”
Meanwhile, Pacchiana's lawyer, Jordan Merson, described Karen's comment as a "possible HIPAA violation."
