Lewis Burton's Valentine in 2020 ended up with a tragedy. He lost his girlfriend, Caroline Flack, a day after the 2020 Valentines on 15 February 2020. The former Love Island host took her own life in her East London flat.

Lewis has now responded to Caroline's death over his Instagram. The 27-year-old Tennis player shared a photo with his late girlfriend and poured an emotional message: 

"My heart is broken we had something so special. I am so lost for words I am in so much pain I miss you so much I know you felt safe with me you always said I don’t think about anything else when I am with you and I was not allowed to be there this time I kept asking and asking."

Lewis continued:

"I will be your voice baby I promise I will ask all the questions you wanted and I will get all the answers nothing will bring you back but I will try make you proud everyday. I love you with all my heart."

A day before Caroline lost her life in suicide, Lewis wished her a happy Valentine's day by posting of himself embracing Caroline on his Instagram story. He wrote, 'Happy Valentines, love you.'

The couple had been through a tough time during the moment Caroline died. Back in December 2019, she was accused of assaulting Lewis with a lamp on his head. Although she got charged with the assault, Lewis denied the accusations over her.
