Travis Browne Revealed About Expecting Baby Girl With Wife Ronda Rousey Via Pokemon Inspired Gender Reveal

Travis Browne and his wife Ronda Rousey have confirmed that they are expecting a baby girl.

The news was announced on Rousey’s YouTube channel, which was an entertaining one for a gender reveal, as they did it in the anime-Pokemon-style, saying, “Our gender reveal is finally here. We didn’t want to do anything that would set hundreds of acres ablaze – or thousands even. Some people are idiots. We didn’t want to do that. So we’re keeping it simple. We’re keeping it safe. We’re keeping it Browsey Acres style.”

An animated egg then hatched on the screen before the baby’s gender was revealed. “It’s a girl,” text underneath the picture of their baby read.

Travis Browne Married Life With Wife Ronda Rousey

Travis Browne tied the knot with a fellow MMA fighter Ronda Rousey in the August of 2017 in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Hawaii.

The pair makes a perfect couple and appears to be made for each other as both of them are professional in the MMA fighting field, though Browne has already stepped back from it.

Even though a hardcore fighter, Browne has a softer side for his family. In celebration of Father’s Day, Browne’s wife, Ronda, posted a video of the father with his youngest son, Keawe, in a classic dad moment. Rousey added a caption to the short video that read, “Happy Fathers Day to the daddest dad on the planet the man who made me a mother and teaches me every day how to find yourself through putting family first instead losing yourself in your role. You’re such an example to us all of how to be strong, soft, loving leader. You’re our Home. You make this family a family and you make me the happiest woman/mother/wife on earth every second of every day. I Love You Travis Browne.”

They first met each other in 2015 when they were both pieces of training at the Glendale Fighting Club. Browne was initially reluctant to share information about his relationship with Rousey due to allegations of domestic violence against his ex-wife Jenna Webb. He, however, eventually confirmed to Luke Thomas, host of The MMA Hour, that he and Ronda had formed a partnership.

Two years after their first meeting, Browne got down on one knee to propose Rousey in April 2017 under a waterfall in New Zealand. “It felt like the right place to do it,” he told TMZ when asked about the moment.

And just within four months of being engaged, the couple got married in Travis’ native Hawaii. Travis later shared a glimpse of the wedding ceremony with a snap of them together as they both walked with a smile on their face. He captioned on the post, “What an amazing day!! She is so perfect in every way! She makes me so happy! She is my other half! I Love You @rondarousey #browsey2017.”

After nearly four years of marriage, the couple finally went public, saying that they were expecting on 21 April 2021. They announced the big news on their YouTube channel and shared a few handpicked moments from their journey of parenthood so far. The video also includes the moment they first found out they were pregnant and clips of Rousey’s fetal ultrasound sessions as well.

She said in the video, “I have been pregnant since January. So, four months baby bump! I can’t hide it anymore, so it’s time to show it off. Just wanted to share with you guys a little bit of the journey we have been on and there’s definitely much more to the story that we will be telling later.”

She ended the video by revealing the delivery date. “Baddest baby on the planet, coming to you soon. September 22nd,” she concluded.

Prior to his relationship with Ronda, Travis has been married twice before. His first wife was Erin Browne, from 2001-2009. The two welcomed two sons together, Kaleo and Keawe, before separating.

He then married Jenna Webb, a fitness model, and an Instagram influencer. The two got married in 2015 but divorced a year later following domestic violence allegations brought forward by Webb. Jenna claimed that the pair split was that Travis assaulted her physically and abused her mentally and emotionally. She even posted photos of massive bruises on her body via Instagram.

The UFC suspended Browne for a short while, but he was soon reinstated as the investigation team founded “inconclusive evidence” supporting the claims of domestic violence by Webb. Webb also slammed Ronda for flaunting what looked like a ‘promise’ ring on Saturday Night Live and claimed that Browne was still married to her.

But, Jenna never pressed charges, and Travis fought in the UFC for another year before leaving.
