Stefanos Tsitsipas spoke about the future of tennis with the Greek city times ahead of the Rotterdam Open week and shared that he saw the future of tennis as having a top-six or top-eight guys competing for Grand Slam titles.

Players like Denis Shapovalov and Felix Auger-Aliassime helped Canada win the ATP Cup, Jannik Sinner, who made it to the Australian Open quarterfinals, and the 2021 Miami Open champion Hubert Hurkacz have challenged for major competitions in 2022. Stefanos Tsitsipas has also allowed camera crews to follow him around for Netflix Drive to Survive type documentary.

Tsitsipas shared that by doing so, many new audiences can be attracted to Tennis sport as he explained that he saw a lot of hype and evolutions in the sense of concept and rebrand of tennis. He further said that he would be able to play on all surfaces and didn't want to be the one who could only play well on one surface. He added that he could play equally well on all surfaces and produced points on all surfaces that ATP offered during the season. 

Stefanos Tsitsipas represented Greece at the ATP Cup but couldn't compete in his first group tie due to his elbow surgery in late 2021. He also suffered a three-set loss to Diego Schwartzman and then received a walkover in his final group tie during his second scheduled match.

His girlfriend, Theodora Petalas, has a strong portfolio, and her LinkedIn page says that she works as a junior strategist for a branding and marketing agency. She has also worked in the fashion industry in 2015 and as a sales intern for mary Ktrantzou, a London-based fashion house. She graduated from New York University and has a degree in project management. However, Stefanos had mentioned that Theodora was a shy person and a pretty private person who didn't have an Instagram account. 

Moreover, Stefanos was rumored to be dating fellow tennis player Maria Sakkari as they showed great chemistry while playing together in the Hopman Cup defending Greece at the end of 2018. Stefanos had also posted photos with her on his Instagram but never confirmed those dating rumors. But he also talked about her in one of his interviews and said that he could have dated her, but he was shy.

He insisted that he was more mature now and knew what he wanted. While Maria also talked about him, stating that he was a role model for her and it was good to look after another player from the same country.
