Los Angeles Clippers' Montrezl Harrell won the 2019-20 Kia NBA Sixth Man Award for his successive year. Harrell, who finished third last year, registered the win for the first time this season. From a global panel of 100 sportswriters and broadcasters, Harrell earned 58 first-place votes and made 397 total points.

Behind him, Dennis Schröder from Oklahoma City Thunder came second with 35 first-place votes and 328 points in total. Similarly, Clippers guard Lou Williams, who is also a three-time Kia NBA Sixth Man Award winner, came third with the other seven first-place votes and 127 total points.

As per the NBA, players had the provision of five points for each first-place vote, three points for each second-place, and one point for each third-place vote. All the votes were given based on the match played through 11 March 2020. Players had to have come off the bench in more games than they start in games, which was one of the clauses of voting eligibility.
