American football coach Matt Rhule became the fifth head coach for Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). Poured with a coaching brilliance, Panthers hired him as their head coach on 8 January 2020, making him the sixth highest-paid football coach of all time.

His coaching history marks his remarkable career from Albright College, Temple University, and Baylor University.

What's Matt Rhule's Salary And New Contract With The Panthers?

Carolina Panthers have given NFL coach Matt Rhule a wise offer that he could not deny.

As per the ESPN report, the Panthers offered him a seven-year contract worth $70 million, including the incentives and bonuses. The deal secures Matt an average salary of $8.86 million per annum along with $62 million guaranteed for the next seven seasons until 2026.

The new offers with Carolina Panthers made him the sixth highest-paid coach after Bill Belichick ($12 Million), Pete Carroll ($11 Million), Jon Gruden ($10 Million), Sean Payton (9,8 Million), and John Harbaugh ($9 Million).

Panthers hired Matt as a head coach on 7 January 2020. He attended the introductory press conference and got introduced to the world at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, on the 8th of January 2020 as a new coach to the team. 

Matt Made Quite Earnings Coaching Several Colleges Before Panthers

Previously, Matt Rhule coached Baylor University after being named the head football coach on 6 December 2016. He made the earnings of $4,250,000 with the University, which finished the 2019 season at 11-1.

Before that, he had coached Albright College (2006-2008) and Temple University from 2012 to 2016. He got named as an offensive coordinate of Temple University back in 2008 and later handled the head football coach position in 2012.
