With the reformation of the team, Chelsea might be going to the top of the table next season (2020/21). And it could be the relief for the Stamford Bridge's fan who finished the league in the fourth position falling straight from the third.

The Blues have already signed the star footballers like Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Timo Werner and guess what impact they will make in the team throughout the season.

Hakim Ziyech is expected to make an impact in midfield, while Werner's presence makes a huge difference in the forward line of the team. And Chelsea's manager Frank Lampard is well-known about that. For Ziyech, the Blues are willing to make easy as the negotiations to sign Kai Havertz from Bayer 04 Leverkusen is on the process.

The transfer news of Kai Havertz claims that the deal to sign him in Chelsea will soon start after the Europa League on 21 August. Michael Ballack, who played from 2006-10 with the current manager of Chelsea in Premier League, mentioned that Lampard is 100 percent behind the German wonder kid.

Ballack stated:

"Havertz is a player that Frank Lampard would help further, not least because he was a midfielder with an eye for goal, who was always moving into dangerous areas, looking to finish off a chance."

Lampard is said to go for the hunt of new goalkeeper once the deal with Kai Havertz is sealed. If the agreement is confirmed, Havertz will be the end of Chelsea's attacking reinforcements.

However, Chelsea has the usual opponent Manchester United in the quest to sign Havertz. Since United's attempts to sign Jadon Sancho is fading away, they could probably come with offers to Havertz, reports say.

Many believe that the Red Devils might be the late rival for the signature of the Bayer Leverkusen's midfielder.
