Donald Trump and Joe Biden's Presidential debate has turned on the ears worldwide. The attitude that Trump showed during the debate and his frequent disturbance on Biden's speech was considered 'not okay' by several critics. Herschel Walker, a former professional football is one of them, who clapped back at Joe Biden in regards to the debate.
Walker took Twitter to address an issue with the Trump-Biden debate that rocked the whole United States and the world as well.
In a video shared on his Twitter, he said, 'The Proud Boys, I've never heard of.' He added;
"So I was confused why [debate moderator] Chris Wallace would ask the president about the Proud Boys. ‘Cuz I’ve never seen the Proud Boys break any windows, assault any police officer, kill anyone. Never seen them destroy a business, try to intimidate anyone, destroy a restaurant, but I have seen BLM and Antifa do that.”
Also, he cited the characterization of former Vice President Joe Biden as just an 'idea' which came after Trump's administration moved to designate it as a 'terrorist organization.'
During the debate, Biden said that 'Antifa's an idea, not an organization.'
But Walker appears to be on Trump's side. Speaking on the defending side of the current President, Walker mentioned, 'I've seen [Trump] around people, I don't know where he says those outlandish, crazy things.' He further added;
"And people say that he’s racist. But I’ve never seen anything that [made me] consider Donald is a racist. Because of the things — he’s said those outlandish things about building a wall — that doesn’t mean you’re racist when you say things like that."
Regarding his speech, Donald Trump thanked him via Twitter and posted a video of Walker with Fox News Network on 1 October 2020. Previously, Walker had delivered a powerful endorsement of Trump back in August at the Republican National Convention.
