Real Madrid will pinpoint two superstars as their main transfer targets this summer, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland. Either player would transform their attack for the 2021-2022 season and well beyond, as they are generational talents who are already capable of scoring 30 goals in a single season. And Los Blancos have not produced a 30-goal scorer since Cristiano Ronaldo departed for Turin.

Haaland is more than a consolation prize. The 20-year-old Borussia Dortmund striker is a Galactico in his own right, and he already has 25 goals in all competitions for the otherwise slumping Black and Yellows.

Haaland will be cheaper than Mbappe, who could approach 200 million euros with an additional 30 million euros per year in salary. However, Haaland isn’t going to be much cheaper. Right now, it looks like Real Madrid would have to pay at least 100 million euros for the striker, but that number could rise.

Haaland has a couple of things that work in his favor. Firstly, he is two years younger than Mbappe. Secondly, he may be a more accomplished finisher and goal-scorer than Mbappe, based on his goal output since the start of the 2019-2020 season.

It wouldn’t be unreasonable for Los Blancos to go as high as 120 million euros for Haaland. Mbappe will cost more than Haaland for a good reason, but Haaland’s value should not be underestimated.

According to Telegraph journalist Matt Law, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is involved in the transfer race for Erling Haaland, similar to Eden Hazard's transfers.

The 20-year-old Erling Haaland is the hottest topic in Europe at the moment. His goalscoring record, 28 goals in all competitions for Dortmund this season, including eight in the Champions League, is clear evidence of his talent.

Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola recently made an interesting claim that there are 10 clubs, including four English clubs, that could afford to sign Haaland this summer.

Chelsea's higher-ups have approved Thomas Tuchel’s request to sign the player and are willing to go for the price of €110m. Chelsea has a budget of over €250m for the summer and is obviously willing to bring in world-class players to reinforce the squad.

Erling Haaland Net Worth And Career

Erling Haaland earns £141,000 per week, £7,332,000 per year playing for Borussia Dortmund. Erling Haaland has earned a total of £15,294,240 over their career to date. Although he has earned a lot of salaries, his net worth is not revealed in detail.

Haaland played two games into his senior international career with Norway, but he was actually born in Leeds, England, in July 2000.

When Haaland was about 9 years old, he and his friends started meeting on weekends to practice and scrimmage on their own at an old stadium in Bryne. They trained together officially a couple of times a week with their coaches.

Haaland spent 10 years in the English Premier League with Nottingham Forest, Leeds, and Man City between 1993 and 2003 whilst winning 34 caps for Norway, but he is perhaps best remembered for the horror tackle he received from Roy Keane in City's derby draw with Manchester United in April 2001. With his career petering out, 'Alfie' and his family returned to their native Bryne, a 12,000-strong town 300 miles southwest of Norway's capital Oslo, a few years later, and the young Erling soon found himself in the youth set-up of the club his father had started his own career at Bryne FK.

Haaland is often compared with legendary Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic because of their shared Scandinavian background and thirst for goals.

Erling Haaland's double for Borussia Dortmund against Club Brugge in the Champions League means he has now scored 70 goals from 91 shots on target in his professional career. Following the game, a stat emerged that puts into perspective just how efficient he is. 70 goals from 91 shots mean Haaland has a 76% conversion rate when hitting the target.
