Dwayne Wade Celebrates 40th Birthday With Wife Gabrielle Union

The retired NBA veteran Dwayne Wade continues to get full support from his fans as he shares his life via social medias and media appearances too. He recently shared a series of photos related to his 40th birthday celebration captioning the post, "Pre Birthday Behavior...40"

His early birthday post garnered over 300,000 likes where he was seen posing with his wife Gabrielle Union smiling and posing for their special bathroom selfies. The former NBA player also posted on his stories a series of photos including his dad, Dwayne Wade Sr, and his older sister Tragil.

His wife looked gorgeous with a sultry-looking red velvet nightgown showing off her toned arms and curvy hips in the snaps. While Wade solely sported a white towel and a black durag accessorizing with several silver necklaces.

Dwayne Wade first met his present wife, Gabrielle Union in 2007 while cohosting a sponsored Super Bowl party. However, they broke up in 2013 and the actress Union had talked about their split and said that it was because of distance and scheduling saying, "I missed some quality togetherness we desperately needed."

However, they reconciled and got engaged in Dec of 2013. Then they exchanged wedding vows in a lavish ceremony in Miami in August of 2014. They welcomed their first child, a beautiful daughter Kavvia through surrogate as Union suffered from several miscarriages in 2018.

Wade showed his support for his wife, Union when she was let go from America's Got Talent writin in Twitter, "Men lie, Women lie, numbers don't. Over this past year I've been appraoched by may people saying that my wife is the main reason they've started watching #AGT or that they love her insight and sincerity on the show. So, when I got the news that my wife was being fired - my first question was obviously whoy? I am still waiting on a good answer to that question. But if anyone knows @itsgabriellu or have heard of her you know she's an advocate for our community and culture."

Dwayne Wade was previously married to Siohvaughn Funches and had two children, Zaire in 2002 and Zaya in 2007. He also had full custody of his nephew, Dahveon in 2014. But Dwayne and Gabrielle were faced with another challenge when he welcomed his son Xavier in 2013 with Aja Metoyer while he was on a break with Gabrielle. So, the two really had a hart time with that as revealed by themselves separately. Dwayne had shared that telling that he was expecting a child with another woman was the hardest thing he's ever done in his 2020 ESPN documentary. He said, "Me and Gab just went through something that you never want to go through and we still came out of it. Not that it was easy, and that was another moment that showed me life could be different."

 Moreover, his wife, Union wrote in her second memoir, You Got Anthing Stronger? how they were not in a good place at the time that child was conceived and said, "But we were doing much better when he finally told me about the pregnancy. To say I was devastated is to pick a word on a low shelf for convenience...I have not had words, and even after untold amounts of therapy I am not sure I have them now." She further shared how they got into a better place saying, "Each day, he had worked to be forgiven, and I had chosen to do so. And part of this journey of making peace with our love is also making peace with ourselves."
