Madison Cawthorn Charged With Driving With A Revoked License

Madison Cawthorn has been charged with driving on a revoked license for the second time in the past five years. Driving with a revoked license is a misdemeanor that has 20 days in jail as punishment.

According to a spokesperson from a highway patrol, the 26 year old Madison was pulled over on 3 March in Cleveland County in 1 and half hours southeast of Asheville by the highway patrol. The Rep. Madison Cawthorn faced two pending citations for driving 89 mph in a 65 mph zone in Buncombe County on 18 October and 87 mph in a 70 mph zone in Polk County on 8 January.

Cawthorn's spokesperson Luke Ball reported that the court date for misdemeanor was in May 6 and the Polk County speeding citation is set to be heard on April 18 while the Buncombe citation will be on 3 May.

Rep. Madison Cawthorn was recorded calling the Ukranian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy a thug and the Ukranian government evil at an event in Asheville over the weekend and emphasized that the congressman's remarks didn't reflectt Republicans opinion. He was seen describing the Ukranian government as incredibly corrupted pushing woke ideologies.

However, after WRAL's report, Madison Cawthorn called out the actions of Russian President Vladmir Putin disgusting and asked leaders including Zelenskyy to not push misinformations on America. He tweeted, "Propaganda is being used to entice America into another war. I do not want Americans dying because emotions pushed us into a conflict. I am praying for Ukraine and the Ukranian people. Pray also we are not drawn into conflict based on foreign leaders pushing misinformation."

Madison Cawthorn has an estimated net worth of around $1.5 million. He is best known as the youngest member of the House of Representatives who was elected to Congress in 2020. His full name is David Madison Cawthorn and was born in 1995 in Asheville, North Carolina, United States. He joined Patrick Henry College in 2016 studying Political Science and dropped out later with D grades.
