Carly's disappointment resurfaced after she backed her impeachment of President Donald Trump for the 2020 Presidential Campaign. She called Trump's behavior 'destructive to the republic'; however, she is not ruling him from the 2020 campaign. 

Carly, 57, had condemned Trump's attack upon Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who had clarified Ukraine being pressured into Trumps' political rivals.

Carly herself has been the target of Trump's attack. Back in 2015, Trump mocked her in an interview mentioning;

"Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?"

Despite some of the acts, Carly supports Trump's strong economic policies.

Carly worked for Senator John McCain as an advisor in 2006. Later, in 2008, she became the fundraising chair for the Republican National Committee's "Victory" initiative. As being dipped into politics, Carly won the 2010's Senate Election with over fifty percent vote on 8 June 2010.
