Bill Mitchell made the headlines in the outlets after being banned from Twitter on 14 August 2020. His suspension from the social media platform came as the result of attempting to dodge a temporary ban over an undisclosed violation.

Twitter's spokesperson mentioned 'Mitchell's Twitter account has been permanently suspended for violating the Twitter Rules by using one account to evade the suspension of another account.'

Bill Mitchell is the host of the far-right program YourVoice America and also Donald Trump's Toadie. But it is not the first time that Mitchell has faced the backlash, it trails his time interval throughout the past few months.

He has been a prime target of such backlashes due to his coronavirus-denial claims and accusing Dr. Anthony Fauci of being a 'plant' from Hilary Clinton's 2016 Presidential Campaign.

The reasons behind the suspension of Bill Mitchell from Twitter are not known; however, reports gained by Mediaite states that he got banned after challenging coronavirus face masks.

As per TheHill, Mitchell asserted he was banned from Twitter for challenging on wearing a mask over COVID-19 pandemic. He confirmed on social media app Parler, 'Twitter just suspended me for opposing masks. Who knows if I’ll ever be back. I’m sure their decision wasn’t political at all.'
