Giada DeLaurentiis shared the recipe of the classic Italian-American meal, Chicken Parmesan, via her Instagram. The chicken parmesan is known to have 567 calories per serving and a whopping 33.7 grams of fat, but Giada has shared the recipe of making chicken parmesan more healthy and easier to make by leaving out one of the messier steps when creating this dish.
She wrote down the recipe for making chicken parmesan, saying, "If the breading process of chicken Parmesan turns you off of the idea of making it, behold @Giadadelaurentiis' weeknight Chicken Thigh Parm- no rolling or breading required! Topped with cheese and crispy panko, you still get all of the textural variety with none of the fuss."
She then said that coating chicken with egg and then panko bread crumbs could be a messy proposition on a weeknight, so he completely took out that step without sacrificing the taste of the crunchiness. She also shared about her exact weight loss plan and said that she ate green veggies, scrambled eggs, asparagus or white beans, sauteed broccoli rabe, a small portion of carbs and more. She also mentioned limiting her portion sizes and avoiding processed foods. She then talked about avoiding dairy, red meat, sugar and alcohol entirely for three straight days and drank a ton of water and healthy juice.
Giada DeLaurentiis shared that she included chia seed pudding and Kale Juice for her breakfast and had updated Waldorf salad with apple Vinaigrette for lunch. She had crispy chickpeas as her afternoon snack and ate Salmon with lemon capers and rosemary for her dinner.

She said that her mother and grandmother were really good at self-care, and she learned from them to take care of herself from a young age. She gave yoga and meditation credits for keeping her fit after the pregnancy providing her the energy and focus she needed for the day. She also mentioned that living every moment and moving our bodies every day helped us to stay fit and healthy.
