Release Date On Showmax & Trailer

The Real Housewives of Lagos is the most anticipated Nigerian edition of NBC's Universal's The Real Housewives show. It is set to release on 6 April 2022 on channel Showmax.

The trailer for the show was released on 16 March 2022 via Youtube from Showmax's official channel, where six women from different backgrounds gathered together to showcase their power as a businesswoman and their lifestyles as socialites. The trailer introduced all the cast members with their respective names in a short form.

The show will take the viewers on a journey of six socialites and businesswomen from Nigeria, where three of them are married women. The show was inspired by the success of the first two African editions - The Real Housewives of Johannesburg and The Real Housewives of Durban. The show promises viewers to keep them all anticipating as it was in production for most of 2021.

Moreover, The Real Housewives of Lagos is the 16th international version of the Real Housewives format and the third to be adapted in Africa, produced by Livespot 360.

According to pulse.ng, the show will debut officially on Showmax from Friday, 8 April, with new episodes dropping weekly.
