Paul Stanley and his bandmate Gene Simmons have tested positive for COViD-19. Following the news, the band had to postpone a string of shows and their first major Milwaukee concert, which was scheduled at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on 5 September. The band members will isolate themselves at home for ten days.
Stanley updated his fans on Twitter on 27 August, writing,
“ I had been sick with flu loke symptoms and was tested repeatedly and was negative. Aa of late this afternoon I tested positive.” Everyone on the tour, both band and crew , are fully vaccinated.”
The band clarified in a statement Thursday. Their tour has a covid safety protocol officer on staff full today, reminding everyone to follow all CFC guidelines.
According to their Facebook post, doctors have indicated the tour should be able to resume on 9 September. All previously purchased tickets are said to be honored for the new dates once announced.
