Wiki And Summary Of SAO Seasons

(WARNING: Before you read, please be aware that there are MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD.)

As you know, Sword Art Online is like an MMORPG or virtual world based, where players all around the world who have been playing the game have been trapped inside. They are forced to clear all 100 floors and defeat the final boss to be freed from the game.

The general story of Season 1 revolves around two protagonists, Kazuto "Kirito" Kirigaya and Asuna Yuuki, where they spend many days inside the game, clearing the stages and developing friendships with other characters and mutual love relationships. The arc has been divided into the "Aincrad" and "Fairy Dance." Three months after the death game, i.e., Aincrad Arc, Kazuto discovers that Asuna is being held captive in "Alfheim Online" (ALO), a spiritual successor to SAO, where the players assume the roles of fairies. To rescue Asuna from captivity, Kazuto allies with his sister Suguha "Leafa" Kirigaya and enters the game.

The story of Season 2 follows Kirito as he plays the new virtual reality game called "Gun Gale Online" (GGO), where he allies himself with a girl named Shino "Sinon" Asada and enters a tournament to investigate a player known only as "Death Gun." To the dismay of both, Death Gun has the ability to kill a person in the real world by killing their virtual avatar. To investigate the causes of death that had been occurring inside the game, our hero ventures into another journey and gains many friends and enemies alike.

On the Mother Rosario Arc, it includes another story where Kirito and his friends return to "Alfheim Online" (ALO) to retrieve the Holy Sword Excaliber from Thrym, the King of the Frost Giants, to restore the city of Jötunheimr, back to its former glory.

On the other hand, Asuna befriends a girl named Yuuki Konno, leader of the Sleeping Knights, who asks her to join them in one last quest together. But, she discovers that Yuuki did not have much time to live due to a terminal illness.

Season 3 of SAO called 'Project Alicization' is a bit different than any other season due to the fact that it has another concept and storylines that differ from previous ones. It includes our hero, Kirito, who has been transported into another MMORPG world, where he wakes up in an unfamiliar world and ventures into the world full of dangers and friendship. Kirito was seen seeking the truth about why he was in this world.

Apart from that, SAO has a movie titled 'Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale' that was revealed back during the Dengeki Bunko Haru no Saiten 2016 event on 13 March 2016.

What's New in Project Alicization: War of Underworld

Many viewers have been anticipating what the new season has to offer, and how is the story plot's going to be like?

There are many twists and storylines that have yet to be in action in Season 2 of the 'Project Alicization.' So many viewers have been in excitement since, at the end of the previous season, the SAO fans were left on dazed leaving the story in a cliffhanger with more mystery and thriller.

It looks like Kirito suffered an injury in the process of contacting the real world. Meanwhile, Alice wanders around a fallen Kirito, hoping for his recovery. The series seems to have teased more focus on Alice, and there is good news that Asuna is also making an appearance in the War of the Underworld.

In the new season, Sinon will be taking part in the Gun Gale Online game in the fourth Bullet of Bullets tournament against a player named Subtilizer. Our hero, Kirito, will be recovering from his aftermath of the battle against Administrator Quinella.

Also, Alice, who takes Kirito to her hometown Ruild Village must rally the people of the Human Empire together in order to defend against the looming invasion by the Dark Territory.

Relationship Between Kirito Kirigaya And Yuuki Asuna

SAO fans certainly like to ship 'Kirito x Asuna' together. There is one question, will we see more of them, and how is the relationship between these two great heroes?

Kirito is Asuna's partner and main love interest in the SAO franchise. He is the main protagonist who used to be a beta tester in-game, and many have much hatred towards him due to being a beater in the game. Kirito used to be a solo player until he met Asuna again later in the episodes and began working with her clearing the floors. The duo then began developing a relationship between them. He began to become closer to her and decided to protect her from any dangers. He chose Asuna and said sorry to other girls who have feelings for him, even his own sister.

Likewise, Asuna is the female protagonist who is the closest and dearest to Kirito. Originally the two of them only thought of clearing the game, but their relationship began when they partied on the first floor. During the boss fight, Kirito called Asuna by her name for the first time, noticing earlier her character name below the HP gauge.

Asuna, being one of the two people who knew why Kirito called himself as a beater, their love story gained a new taste as the series progressed. After the two of them declared their love for each other, they became concerned for the other's safety.
