Tee Grizzley whose real name is Terry Sanchez Wallace, was born on 23 March 1994 in Detroit, Michigan, in the United States. He grew with his grandmother during childhood. Both of his parents were in and out of jail when he was a child. His mother got arrested and got sentenced to 15 years in prison in 2011 for drug trafficking. The following year in 2012, his father was murdered.
Despite the hectic lifestyle, Grizzley studied finance and accounting at Michigan State University.
But an apple never falls far away from the tree. Like his parents, he got jailed for robbing in September 2015 and released in 2016 from Michigan's Jackson State Prison.

In April 2017, he brought his first mixtape 'My Moment,' after which he collaborated with Meek Mill to release the famous hit song named 'Beef.' Besides, he worked with rapper Lil Durk and brought another song 'What Yo City Like' and a mixtape titled ''Bloodas.''
