David Guetta has announced that he is broadcasting a set from the Louvre Abu Dhabi on New Year’s Eve. He said in a statement, “The Louvre is one of the most iconic venues in the world and I am so excited to be playing at the Abu Dhabi counterpart this New Year’s Eve after the success of my Paris Livestream last year. It’s an honour to be invited to come and perform ; we’ve got out of his world production once again. This year and it’s going to be an electrifying show and an amazing night. I can’t wait to connect with you all and celebrate the New Year together.”
Guetta will be performing on a floating stage constructed in the waters surrounding the Louvre Abu Dhabi that is also in front of the museum’s iconic architecture. The stage will have a world-class light show featuring 500 light fixtures, pyrotechnics, and projection mapping celebrating its vision of art and culture and pushing the message of joy, hope and optimism.
His Livestreaming broadcast will start on 1 January 2022 at 12am I.e. Gulf Standard Time. He will be performing Georges de la Tour’s Girl Blowing on a Brazier, Piet Mondrian’s Composition with Blue, Red, Yellow and Black, August Rodin’s The Walking Man, On a Column, and Statue of a Winged Dragon from Northern China and many more.
