Fox's 'Glee' star, Naya Rivera, who had been missing for days since 8 July 2020 on Lake Piru, 56 miles north-northwest of Los Angeles, is found dead.
As per the authorities, Rivera and her son, Josey Dorsey, had been boating in Lake Piru in California before missing. The Ventura County Sheriff's Department, found her son napping in a boat, and Rivera was not there.

"She mustered enough energy to get her son back onto the boat, but not enough to save herself."
As per the authority, the body of Rivera was explored floating in the northeast area of the lake. The point where her body was found has the water between 35 and 60 feet deep. Investigators were confident that the body was of Naya Rivera. Rivera (body) was taken to Ventura County Coroner's Office, though, for the dental records.
Despite all that, Rivera's family, who attended the lake every day, holding out hope, has gone in vain.

As per Ventura County Sheriff's Department Capt. Eric Buschow, the actress, rented for a boat at 1 p.m., and they found the little kid alone in the vessel without his mother. However, they found an adult life T-shirt on the ship. As per the actress's son, they were swimming in the lake, but Rivera never returned.
The Ventura County Sheriff Department identified the person they were searching for was Naya Rivera and announced that the searching raid would begin in the 'first light.'

Besides, Naya Rivera's son Josey Dorsey is safe and unharmed, now with his family. The department will launch a search party for the possible exploration of the missing actress.
Just a day before missing, Rivera shared a picture of herself with her son on Instagram, showcasing the mother-son affection and love. However, the flow of their bond appears to have halted now.
