Dylan Dreyer Is Pregnant
In the Today show, on 11 May 2021, Dylan Dreyer announced that her third baby is on the way. Dreyer shared a video of herself and Calvin making cinnamon “buns in the oven” on the show, during which the little boy revealed the news as his mama cradled her belly, according to PEOPLE. Their third child is said to be due in November 2021, and Dreyer also promised to reveal the sex of the baby during the show’s third hour.
However, the pair revealed having a miscarriage and struggled with secondary infertility in April 2019. Dylan had a miscarriage in just five weeks of pregnancy. In an interview with Katherine Schwarzenegger in April 2021, Dylan opened up more about infertility, miscarriage, and her journey to motherhood.
In such a devastating moment for a mother, her husband and doctors consoled her, saying that she was not the one at fault but was only the right thing executed by her body.
Dylan marked an emotional family milestone – the one she will remember forever in early 2021. She was reunited with her parents since the start of the pandemic, and they were able to see their youngest grandson Oliver for only the second time. Oliver was just a newborn when his grandparents first saw him, and for the second time, they made up for all the lost months of not being able to meet him.
Dylan shared the lovely reunion on her Instagram account along with multiple pictures consisting of Oliver, Calvin, their grandparents, and the father, Brian, captioning, “Well, this picture was a LONG TIME COMING!!! Pop Pop and Grandma haven’t been able to visit us since Oliver was born. I am so beyond grateful for this perfect afternoon!! #bestdayever #daddysgirls”
Dylan Dreyer Marrie Life With Husband Brian Fichera
Dylan Dreyer is married to Brian Fichera since 2012. The couple has two children together; Calvin (born in December 2016) and Oliver (2 January 2020).
The pair first met when they worked the morning shift over, Dylan as the weather forecaster and Brian as the cameraman at the WHDH station in Boston, Massachusetts. Apparently, Dylan thought Brian’s name was actually Tom, and then it became an inside joke between the two of them, calling each other with wrong names.
Later on, they found out to be the ideal partner for each other. Dylan wrote on her wedding blog that once they and their close friend Todd had a small party at Brian’s house, where she became sure of her feelings for Brian.
In July 2011, Brian reportedly proposed to Dylan on the front porch of his parent's house and later got married in October 2012 at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston.

Five years after the wedding, the couple welcomed their first child, Calvin Bradley Fichera, in December 2016. They announced their son’s birth through NBC’s show, Today, on 19 December 2016. They further wanted to expand their family, but the pair faced secondary infertility, which resulted in a miscarriage for Dreyer in the winter of 2019.
Nevertheless, the tragedy was replaced with good news welcoming the couple’s second child, Oliver George Fichera, on 2 January 2020.
The two are such a happy and lovely couple. In early 2021, Dylan took out some time to appreciate her husband, Brian, for being a “true partner” on her Instagram, along with a photo of Brian holding their son Oliver. Apparently, as a father, Brian should stay up for nights to let Oliver have a sweet sleepy night. Such a gesture earned a lovely message from his wife.
During the early days of the pandemic in 2020, Brian was one of the people who tested positive for the coronavirus. Dreyer and Brian called into the 3rd Hour of TODAY to discuss the family’s experience with the illness. They told that Brian was to take precautions like quarantining himself in his son Calvin’s room while taking care of himself, whereas Dreyer had been busy taking care of their two children. The coronavirus diagnosis was later reported to be recovering after some time.
The couple celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary, taking it to their respective Instagram page. Dreyer posted a video of highlights from their wedding day back in 2012, which was set to Modest Mouse’s “Float On,” captioning, “…Happy Anniversary Bri!! There’s no one else I’d want to live this crazy wonderful life with…I love you!!”
Fichera responded to that by posting a hilarious video that captured moments of the couple having a good time, captioning, “Wherever I am, you are with me, which means I am at the apex of happiness. I love you. Happy anniversary dyl.”
