Duane Chapman Ex-wives And Kids Details

Duane Chapman's first child, Christopher Michael Hecht, was born from Duane's teenage relationship with a woman named Debbie White, whose existence was only found later when Christopher became an adult whilst his mother suicide in 1978.

The Dog's first marriage came in April 1972, when he tied the knot with La Fonda Sue but later split when Duane was jailed for first-degree murder. The pair welcomed two kids together; Duane Jr. and Leland Chapman.

Two years after his first divorce, in 1979, he went on to marry his second wife, Ann Tegenell. Their union gave birth to three children, Zebadiah, Wesley, and James. However, they lost their first child together just a few weeks after his birth in 1980 and soon divorced after the couple welcomed their third child, James.

His third marriage was quite amusing. Duane reportedly paid up $1,000 to Lyssa Rae Brittain to have his child, to which he agreed upon. They tied the knot in 1982 and welcomed three children together; Tucker, Barbara, who died in a car crash in 2006, and Lyssa “Baby Lyssa” Chapman. Duane and Lyssa Rae eventually divorced in November 1991.

Duane’s fourth marriage, however, didn’t end up with any child. He married for the fourth time with his secretary, at the time, Tawny Marie Chapman, in 1992, which soon saw them split after a tumultuous romance in 1994. Their divorce got finalized later in 2002.

Duane Chapman was last married to Alice “Beth” Barmore in May 2006, following their engagement in 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They first linked in 1998, when Duane came to get Beth out of her arrest for shoplifting, and it was love at first sight for Beth, she told Rosie O’Donnell on the actress’ talk show. However, it didn’t work out immediately for them, as they went through several of their own relationships. Nonetheless, the pair found themselves together when they crossed paths again in Colorado.

Beth came into Duane’s life with a daughter, who Dog adopted, and an estranged son whom she had as a teen. They welcomed two more children together, Bonnie and Garry Chapman. Unfortunately, this union also saw its end with the death of Beth, but their love didn’t end as Duane still grieves about her with his new fiancé Francie.
