Before the announcement of his dating Ericka, Aaron stated to some media outlets that he intended to wait for the perfect girl as his partner for marriage. As his parents have been married for over 40 years, his wait for the love of his life didn’t seem to be unreasonable at all.
He is quite a romanticist when it comes to his love life, which can be confirmed from his interview with Glamour in 2016. He described his perfect date night as a nice dinner followed by walking around New York City and ending up at ‘one of those hole-in-the-wall places.’ Further, he admitted that he’d like to go out with someone who loves laughing, comedy, and someone he can have fun with.
While most of his friends are married with kids, Tveit remained a bachelor till 2018. Tveit remained as a bachelor for a reason after all, since he found deep similarities with his character in Stephen Sondheim’s Company as Bobby. So he considers himself as an optimist and romantic person.
He seemed to have got the right girl for him, as in an interview with GQ in 2019 when he was asked about his workout regimen and dietary restrictions, he mentioned himself along with his girlfriend, though her name was not revealed.
Aaron fans later caught up with the news as they speculated of him dating Ericka Hunter. The pair was also spotted by one of the fans while attending a US Open match in 2019. And the rumors were right on the mark, as Aaron publicized his relationship with her on his Instagram post.
