Zachary Davis is an American native and criminal who killed his mother, Melanie, with a sledgehammer and set fire to their home, leaving his older brother, Josh, to die. Zachary Davis does not deserve a Wikipedia page.

Furthermore, Zachary was born to his parents, Melanie and Chris, in 1997 in the United States. His father, Chris, sadly passed away in 2007 due to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS) or Lou Gehrig’s disease. Later, his mother, Melanie, moved their family to Sumner County, Tenn, for a fresh start. His mother, Melanie, was raising Zachary, along with his older brother, Josh as a paralegal and triathlete. 

In contrast, Zachary Davis is 25 years old as of 2023 and an American with white ethnicity. However, his zodiac and birthday are unknown as his exact birthdate is still a mystery. Similarly, for his religion, he follows the path of Christianity.

Zachary Davis fell into depression and tailspin after he lost his father, Chris, in 2007 at a young age. His paternal grandmother took Zachary to see Dr Bradley Freeman at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for his health checkup when she noticed how Zachary was more withdrawn after the loss.

The psychiatrist also mentioned his mental defect, and during his sessions, Zach shared how he heard the voices of his father. Hence, Zach was diagnosed with schizophrenia and depressive disorder. During his recovery stage, Zachary was pulled out of therapy by his mother, Melanie, and they all moved to Sumner County, Tenn.

As a result, Zach became increasingly mentally sick, and he was assumed to be an outcast wearing the same hoodie daily. Zach also surrounded himself with unusual things and had an app about serial killers and torture devices. He also played violent video games and read the Stephen King novel, Misery.

Day by Day, Zachary’s inner voices grew into violent ones, and on the night of 10 August 2012, Zachary took terrible actions in his home. After he returned home with his mother and brother from a movie night, Zach packed his clothing, notebooks, toothbrush, gloves, ski mask, and claw hammer into his backpack.

After his mother fell asleep around 9:00 pm, Zachary took a sledgehammer from their basement and went to his mother’s room. He struck her nearly 20 times and bludgeoned her to death. Then, Zachary went to their family room, drenched whiskey with gasoline, and set his house on flame, leaving his brother to die in the fire.

Later, Zachary was arrested and given a life sentence in Tennessee with the possibility of parole after 51 years.
