The Most Dangerous Animal Of All premiered its first episode on 6 March 2020 with its cast Kyle DeCamp as Earl Van Best Jr., Katelyn Kapocsi as Jude Chandler, and Corey Landis as Earl Van Best.

The story of The Most Dangerous Animal of All depicts Gary Loyd Stewart's theory and investigation, which he documented in a book of the same name, co-authored by Susan Mustafa. The storyline flows thoroughly as Gary believes his father is a murderer of five people, naming him a Zodiac Killer.

Rotea Gilford was a stepfather of Gary Stewart. Gary's mother, Judith Chandler and Rotea were married after Judith's failed marriage with Gary's biological father. Rotea was an inspector at the San Francisco Police Department, who worked for the Zodiac Killer case at the time.

Who Is Rotea Gilford? Is He Dead Or Alive?

Rotea Gilford was a police inspector at San Fransisco Police Department, who dealt with the serious-murder case of numerous homosexual individuals back in 1973. He was born in 1927 in Montgomery County, Texas, in the United States to his parents, Viola Mae James Gilford and Rotea Love Gilford. He grew up with his sibling named Gladys Ruth Gilford Pittman.

After moving to Fillmore District in San Francisco with his family, he graduated from the San Francisco City College.

He was one of the socially acclaimed police officers of the 70s as he became the first African-American homicide inspector and left the positive impact in the African-American community.

Some of his achievements as a police officer were solving the case of Zebra Killings in 1974. Zebra Killings had aroused the racial profiling against African-Americans as the serial murder was characterized by African-American victimizing the Caucasians.

Nonetheless, he solved the series of murders that were targeted to the homosexual community back in 1973. Besides that, Rotea was a Deputy Mayor in the Feinstein administration and also worked during the administration of Mayor Art Agnos.

Despite all his career successions, Rotea Gilford is no more with us. He died on 14 March 1988 in San Francisco, California, at the age of 71 after battling diabetes. He had already lost his left foot, part of the right leg, and a finger during the surgery. He was laid to rest at the cemetery of San Fransisco Columbarium.

Rotea Gilford's Married Life

Rotea Gilford was married twice throughout his life. He married his first wife, Patricia Mary Gilford-Quintal, in 1951 at the age of 24 with whom he shared five children, namely Michael Rotea Gilford, Steve, Chase, Terry Marshall (fostered), and Judy.

Patricia died in 2013 and as her son Michael Rotea (d. 1977).

Rotea was later married to Gary Stewart's mother, Judith Chandler. He had helped Gary for his Zodiac Killers case, where his (Gary) biological father was believed to be a murderer. And, now there is a mini-series brought in the entertainment industry reviving the Zodiac Killers case named 'The Most Dangerous Of All.'
