The contestants of American Idol managed the recent rounds to be performed from home due to Coronavirus (COVID-19). All the top 20 contestants poured their musical talents from home online, and their judges too analyzed their progress via the same method.

With a keen look over the last performances and the number of votes acquired by the contestants, there are top 11 finalists of American Idol on the road now.

Louis Knight Is The Top 11 Contestants In American Idol; His Journey From The Audition

Louis Knight has made it. Yes, he found himself a space amongst the top 11 contestants in American Idol this season. With that, Louis became the first person to make it through the top 11 contestants in American Idol this season.

He chose to sing In My Place by Coldplay and claimed that he had recently heard this song.

During the final 10, which was performed from home due to social-distancing issues of Coronavirus, he sang Julia Michaels' 'If The World Was Ending.'

Louis's journey to the idol started from Washington D.C. audition 2020 back in a few months. He came up with his original song 'Change' dedicated to his late friend named Russell, after which all three judges said 'yes' to bring him into the Hollywood show.

During the Hollywood round, he appeared on the pop category of Genre Challenge and sang 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. He got advanced by all three judges after his performance.

Later, he appeared on a duet called '3:15' with a fellow contestant Fransisco Martin and sang The Script's 'Break Even,' and both made it to the next level. On the solo performance, he sang 'Hold Me While You Wait by Lewis Capaldi.' 

After proceeding to Hawaii Round, he sang Ed Sheeran's 'Castle on the Hill' that led him to the top 20 finals. As of now, he has made his American Idol journey worth by being in the Top 11.
