Julian couldn’t carry out any of his day-to-day tasks by himself and had his caring wife ready to help him in everyday life chores. His wife, Irma, helped him bathe and brought him food.
The couple’s love story was also revealed, melting even the stone hearts. They fell in love at first sight. His wife, Irma, chose him over her family and got married to him, which was the best thing that ever happened to Julian, as he says so himself. But with the increasing weight of Julian, Irma gets scared that she might lose him due to health issues caused by his dramatic over-weight.
Julian had an unhealthy relationship with food when he started to associate food with comfort and security in his childhood. Things got worse when his mother got remarried, and his step-father began mistreating him. Julian had also shared how his love for food stops him from having children.
At first, the couple revealed that they didn’t know the exact weight of Julian and were scared of his measured weight, i.e., 830-lbs. According to Dr. Now, Julian had to lose 100 pounds in just two months by following his diet plan. However, Julian was not able to lose weight as the measuring scale showed 800 pounds. Julian insisted that he kept up with the advised diet plan, and Dr. Now argued that the scales and numbers don’t lie. This event directed him towards the positive side, and he was able to move to Texas and have his operation. But the journey to Texas was definitely not easy with all the storms and tornados approaching. The couple was seen arguing for the first time in the show.
Dr. Now acknowledged how complicated the operation was due to Hernia, but he did a partial repair along with the gastric sleeve forcefully because there was not enough time to do a full repair. After the operation, Julian took Irma out on their first date in a very long time, and almost after a decade, Julian was able to drive to his work.
The episode ended on a positive note having both Julian and Irma looking all bright and content. After that, there hasn’t been an update on the whereabouts of Julian. However, Julian seems to be optimistic about getting a job and growing his family.
