Cornell University's most prominent donor, Jon Lindseth published an open letter to the Board of Trustees Chair, Kraig Kayser MBA '84, and the entire Board of Trustees on 23 January 2024 on Tuesday. The letter called for President, Martha Pollack and Provost, Michael Kotlikoff's resignation.
Due to the University's failure to address antisemitism on campus amid a "misguided commitment" to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. He said that antisemitism is growing in the University as it becomes increasingly focused on adhering to DEI policies.
