The protest against the death of the black guy George Floyd has come in several forms. Though the murderer of George Floyd, Derek Chauvin, is already charged with murder and manslaughter, the protests have been taken fiercely in several cities of the United States.

In the meantime, Hacktivist group Anonymous surfaced to criticize the Minneapolis Police Department. Anonymous tweeted many tweets that talked about the racist system that continued in the United States throughout the years.

They mentioned:

"We stand in solidarity with the protesters and revolutionaries fighting the US oligarchy, fighting the injustice of a massively corrupt racist system that has continued on for generations."

"If the police can't restrain themselves and are shooting reporters, kicking protesters, punching protesters, and engaging in violence - how can anyone expect the people to restrain themselves? People are done being brutalized and murdered."

Moreover, Anonymous released a video threatening Minneapolis to leak 'many crimes to the world.' They even hacked Minneapolis PD's website. Similarly, many saw that the Chicago PD scanners were being hijacked by the people playing polka music and NWA's 'F**k the Police.'

For all those deeds, the @LatestAnonNews Twitter account took responsibility. 'Anonymous' is said to be run by multiple 'multiple Anons.'

On the other hand, Anonymous hacked the alleged sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein's "little black book." The book includes several stories of star-profiled personalities like Alec Baldwin, Will Smith, Mick Jagger, Courtney Love, George Hamilton, Minnie Driver, and many others.

Even the Trump family, including Ivanka and Robert Trump, are the victim of the hack zone. It is said that the convicted rapist and famous filmmaker, Harvey Weinstein, was involved with Epstein.

Who Is Anonymous? Is Anonymous Still Active 2020?

Anonymous is an international hacktivist group. It has a prominent history and background of several cyberattacks against the government and its subsidiaries.

Anonymous surfaced for the first time in 2003 with a concept of many online/offline community users existing as an anarchic and digitized global brain on the imageboard 4chan.

The hacktivist group members, also known as anons, can be distinguished via the wearing of Guy Fawkes masks.

Numerous people have been arrested for their involvement in the Anonymous hacktivist cyber-attacks worldwide, including the United States, Britain, Australia, Turkey, Spain, Netherlands, and more.

Anonymous is the most feared hackers all over the world. And it seems that they are still active in 2020 as well. Well, there were no signs of Anonymous for years. However, concerning the death of George Floyd by Derek Chauvin, Anonymous surfaced their existence through a Twitter account, @LatestAnonNews.
