Out of them, one is Bill Nye, who is considered as the science guy in the United States. And this science guy has made the clever move in flowing awareness about wearing a face mask. He utilized the social media platform, Tik Tok, where he shared a video about the mask's importance during the Coronavirus.

Nye started the video with a question:
"Why do people in the scientific community want you to wear a face mask when you are out in public? Masks prevent particles from my respiratory system from getting into your respiratory system... Blocking the movement of air is an old trick."
The video featured the use of a candle to demonstrate how much air escapes his mouth when it is covered. The use of covering his mouth ranged from the plain ordinary scarf to the homemade two-layer cotton mask to the N-95 mask.
As of recent scenario, the netizens of the United States have divided into parts of several parts regarding the Coronavirus issue as well as the use of masks. Even President Donald Trump appears to neglect social distancing and personal safety guidelines. And the past months have shown us the mass protest against the death of black man George Floyd.
Moreover, there were several cases filed demanding that the netizens should not wear masks. But neither of those made sense as the United States itself is the most victimized country by Coronavirus. And the mass protest and campaign are the place that has more chances of spreading the disease. So, refusing to use masks comes as the stupidity of Americans.
Despite that, Bill Nye's latest Tik Tok video proves that the use of face masks can be the best option to avoid the person-to-person spread of Coronavirus. It is also one of the trending videos of the time, which has collected more than 10 million views, as of 10 July 2020. He has 2.3 million followers on his Tik Tok.
Is Bill Nye An Actual Scientist? His Education And Degree
Though famed as the Science Guy, Bill Nye is not a scientist, and he is bashed for not being the one. Instead, he is a science educator, television presenter, and a mechanical engineer.
He rose to prominence as the host of the children's science show Bill Nye the Science Guy.

Nye, born and raised in Washington D.C., in the United States, pursued his early education from Lafayette Elementary School and Alice Deal Junior High. Later, he moved to Ithaca, New York, and attended Cornell University and Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from where he had a degree of B.S. in mechanical engineering.
After graduation, Nye worked as an engineer at Boeing Corporation and then started hosting a show called Bill Nye the Science Guy for five years from 1993 to 1998.
Although he is not an actual scientist, Nye has always been vocational towards science.
