It's been nearly three years since former NFL tight end Aaron Hernandez took his life in prison. But, the curiosities surrounding his lifestyle and sexuality hasn't yet died down.
With the latest Netflix's docuseries Killer inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez- which premiered on 15 January 2020- viewers are getting to know the wild side of Aaron and how he turned into a cold-blooded murderer from an aspiring football player.
The Netflix series also sheds light on the former New England Patriots star's double life, consisting of a girlfriend and a secret gay relationship with his childhood pal- Dennis Sansoucie.
Dennis Sansoucie- who was the childhood friend of Aaron- has a lot to say about their friendship and their eventual sexual relationship.
Dennis Sansouice Secret Gay Relationship With Former NFL Tight End Aaron Hernandez
Dennis had been friends with Aaron since they were kids. In fact, Dennis's father, Tim Sansoucie, had coached Aaron on tackle football when he was only an 8-year-old boy.
Dennis and Aaron's friendship took a turn for the worse as they got involved in a sexual relationship in seventh grade. However, both were doubtful about the relationship as they lived in a traditional community.
Aaron's father, Dennis Hernandez, was a homophobic man- which further encouraged the two to hide their gay sexuality.

The two were best friends and even compatible teammates. Aaron played at the tight end position for Bristol Central High School, while Dennis was a quarterback for the team.
Apart from playing for the same team, Aaron and Dennis also loved hanging out and even smoked weed together.
Despite their closeness, nobody had a reason to suspect that Dennis and Aaron were involved physically as the former NFL star also had a girlfriend in high school, named Shayanna Jenkins. Shayanna would later go on to become Aaron's fiancee and the mother to his daughter.
After graduating high school, Dennis joined the U.S. marines while Aaron went to college. Later, Aaron was found guilty of first-degree murder of Odin Lloyd- his fiancee's sister's boyfriend- and five other firearm charges. He eventually committed suicide on 17 April 2017 at his prison cell.

Dennis Sansoucie is a native of Bristol, Connecticut, and was born in 1990 (birthday not disclosed). The 29-year-old grew up alongside his then-best friend and former New England Patriots' tight end, Aaron Hernandez. The two even attended the same middle school and later high school, Bristol High School.
After high school, Dennis joined the U.S. marine corps but hasn't revealed if he is still in the service.
Further, he also served as an advisor during the story writing of Netflix's docuseries based on Aaron's life, Killer inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez.
