David Bisbal has come forth with his new single entitled 'Tears of Gold' and guess with whom he collaborated. It's none other than the American singer-songwriter Carrie Underwood. The song is the first-ever bilingual single with both singers singing both in Spanish and English.
Tears of Gold is produced in the four-on-the-dance beat, and both Underwood and Bisbal have talked about the love affair in the song. The lyrics go like:
"Like I’m watchin’ the sun explode/I can feel every drop when I watch you go/’Cause it’s rainin’, ’cause it’s rainin’, ’cause it’s rainin’/Tears of gold."
Besides that, the song's music video was shot in Los Angeles, which features them performing together in a sunlit warehouse and on a rooftop overlooking downtown L.A. at night. Speaking about the first-ever bilingual song, Bisbal mentioned, 'I am very proud of our first collaboration.' He added:
"The video was shot in Los Angeles and it was very special because I love Carrie and truly admire her courage. She has shown a profound admiration for the Spanish language with her wonderful vocals on the track and I am honored to collaborate with Carrie on her first bilingual Spanish song. I hope you enjoy the blend of country and pop music on ‘Tears of Gold’ as much as we do.”
Sources mentioned that Tears of Gold would be included in Bisbal's forthcoming album, En Tus Planes. The album will be released on the 11th of December 2020.
