Fame is like a children's play for Sir David Attenborough. However, it does not come easily; instead, it is a consequence of his serious topics that need to be sorted out before its too late. David Attenborough is a naturalist and broadcaster, and he tends to save the earth and its components through his activism.

Attenborough joined Instagram on 24 September 2020, and it took just four hours and 44 minutes to reach a million followers on the platform.

With the massive fan-following, he not only topped Jennifer Aniston's record but also set a Guinness World Record.

David Attenborough started his debut post, where he wrote, 'Saving our planet is now a communications challenge,' which reached more than 8 million views in just 24 hours. As of 26 September 2020, Attenborough has attained more than 3.9 million followers on his official Instagram within 48 hours.

He shared a video on the platform, where he mentioned:

"Continents are on fire. Glaciers are melting. Coral reefs are dying; fish are disappearing from our oceans…The list goes on and on. But we know what to do about it, and that's why I'm tackling this new way — for me — of communication."

'I am making this move and exploring this new way of communication – to me – because, as we all know, the world is in trouble,' he added as he mentioned that he joined the app because 'the world is in trouble.' Similarly, he asked his fans-followers to stay 'tuned' and left a message in the video, which said, 'Over the next few weeks, I'll be recording messages to explain what the problems are, and how we can deal with them.'

Besides all that, Attenborough will not personally manage his Instagram account. Reports say that the frequent collaborators, namely, Jonnie Hughes and Colin Butfield and producers from the upcoming Netflix documentary, A Life On Our Planet, will be on to manage the platform.

His documentary, A Life On Our Planet, will be released on 4 October 2020 on Netflix. Stay tuned until its release.
