Hence, Dana had invited her boyfriend, Mark Evan for a family dinner on Christmas Eve, 1991. On her way back home, Dana took the Scenic Route 137 that included Isaac Hale Beach Park to the Shack where three men, Frank Pauline Jr, Albert Ian Schweitzer, and Shawn Schweitzer arrived in a purple 1957 Volkswagen Beetle.
When those men whistled at her, Dana waved back at them and after around 10-15 minutes, those men headed in Dana’s direction in their VW. As a result, Dana never returned back to her parent’s rental holiday home. Her bicycle was hit by their car at around 4:30 pm and a local named Anna Sherrell found her crushed bicycle, a white tennis shoe, tire racks, and a broken watch. Fresh blood and blond human hair.
