To speak against the abuse needs guts inside anyone. And to speak against the abuse against own parents need more than the guts. Collin Gosselin spoke against his father, who had been abusing him throughout several years. Collin Gosselin, age 16, accused his father Jon Gosselin of punching and kicking him, which led to the child abuse investigation on 10 September 2020.
Also, the County of Berks, Pennsylvania Child & Youth Services has notified Collin Gosselin's mom Kate of the investigation of the alleged abuse cited by Collin.
The reports claim that the accusation is of 'causing bodily injury to a child through recent act/failure to act: hitting/punching.'
What Happened To Collin Gosselin?
Collin Gosselin recently updated an Instagram post citing that his father 'beat' him on the Instagram post last week. He wrote:
"My dad is a liar. Yesterday he beat me up and thought nothing of it, he punched me in the face and gave me a swollen nose and I started bleeding. He then continued to kick me in the ribs after I was on the floor. He is a liar."
Although the report does not name Jon as the perpetrator, he is the prime suspect. Concerning the incident, Kate Gosselin, ex-wife of Jon Gosselin stated:
"You do not punch and kick your children. You do not kick a child. I don’t want to hear any excuses from anyone, not from his father, not from local law enforcement, not from court personnel whose job is supposed to ensure the best interests of my children. There is a child abuse law, PA 23, section 8i states that doing any of the following, regardless of whether it causes injury, is child abuse, and first on that list is kicking. Period."
'I don't want my children around him. Enough is enough,' she added.

As of now, the investigation of the supposed crime is going on. As per Berks County District Attorney John Adams:
"There have been no charges or citations filed as a result of that incident. That's the only incident we are aware of at this point, and there was no citation or charges filed as a result of the incident."
On the other hand, Jon Gosselin is denying the allegations of punching his 16-year-old son. Gosselin's representative confronted the allegations of Collin Gosselin and mentioned that the reality star never committed the crime of abuse against his son. He noted, 'Collin has endured severe trauma. Jon is a loving father who has worked hard to ensure that his son gets the support and help he needs.'
Who Is Collin Gosselin?
Collin Gosselin is one of eight children of Jon Gosselin, a reality star who starred in the TLC series, Jon & Kate Plus 8. Collin is also one of his five other sextuplets, namely, Joel, Aaden, Alexis, Hannah, and Leah. Born in 2004 in Penn State Milton, in Pennsylvania, in the United States, Gosselin celebrates his birthday on 10 May along with his five other sextuplets.

Besides, Collin also has twin older siblings, namely, Mady and Cara in his family. He is the son of Jon Gosselin and his ex-wife, Kate Gosselin.
Amongst eight children, Hannah and Collin Gosselin live with their father Jon Gosselin, and six others reside with their mom, Kate. The eldest kids Mady and Cara revealed that they are not in talking terms with their dad, Jon Gosselin, as of now.
