Anthony Huber was a sweet, witty, and awesome skateboarder, protester, and defender of Jacob Blake. He was shot at least eight times on his back by Kenosha Police Department officer Rusten Shesky on 23 August 2020. However, Anthony Huber doesn’t own a Wikipedia page.

Furthermore, Anthony Huber was born to his parents on 21 August 1994 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA. However, there is no accurate information about his parents in the media, including their names and profession. He is also assumed to be a single child of his parents since he never mentioned his siblings.

Cause of Death

Anthony Huber faced sudden and wrongful death when he was protesting as an activist and defenfor for the Black Lives Matter demonstration in Kenosha on the evening of 25 August 2020, two days after the death of Jacob Blake, killed by a police officer Rusten Shesky on, 23 August 2020.

Along with Anthony, a fellow protester named Joseph Rosenbaum was killed by a 17-year-old American citizen, Kyle Rittenhouse. It was reported that when businesses were ransacked and burned during the George Floyd protests in Kenosha, the right-wing vigilante Kyle Rittenhouse joined the other armed civilians on the streets carrying a weapon authority that was illegally purchased as an underage. 

Kyle then shot Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, in the parking lot of an auto dealership and ran from the scene. While escaping the incident, Kyle stumbled and fell. When Anthony Huber tried to disarm him while striking him with his skateboard, Kyle shot Anthony to death and wounded demonstrator Gaige Grosskreutz. 

Anthony’s father, John Huber, filed the lawsuit accusing officers of allowing a dangerous situation that violated Anthony’s constitutional rights, which resulted in his needless death. His father also alleged that Kyle Rittenhouse conspired with law enforcement to cause harm to protestors. However, when Kyle was charged with reckless homicide, attempted first-degree intentional homicide, and being a minor in possession of a dangerous weapon, Rittenhouse claimed he fired his gun in self-defense and was found not guilty of all those counts on November 19, 2021. 

However, the case is still ongoing, and Grosskreutz also filed a similar lawsuit against Rittenhouse last year.
