Who Is Albruena Gonzaque?

Albruena Gonzaque is a model and beauty pageant queen from Edmond, Oklahoma. Her father is Candi Hopkins Gonzaque and graduated from Edmond Santa Fe High School in 2011. Then she attended the University of Central Oklahoma studying Mass communication and media studies from 2012 to 2017.

Miss Oklahoma 2021, Albruena Gonzaque was born in 1994 making her 27 years old this year. She has a slim and fit figure as she keeps herself fit by exercising regularly and eating a healthy, plant-based diet. She has a weight of 56 kg approximately and stands 5 feet 11 inches tall. The model has worked as a social media coordinator at Remington Park Racetrack. Her modeling career is managed by PRIM Management Modeling Agency and is quite an active Instagram user where she posts about her trips and mainly posts to make an impact on society by normalizing and encouraging young people to be comfortable in their own skin and bodies. 

Albruena Gonzaque Was Miss Oklahoma 2021

Albruena Gonzaque was crowned as Miss Oklahoma in June 2021 after several years of being third runner up at Miss Oklahoma USA 2015, first runner up at Miss Oklahoma USA 2016, first runner up again at Miss Oklahoma USA 2017, first runner up at Miss Oklahoma USA 2018 and fourth runner up at Miss Oklahoma USA 2020.

Albruena shared her happiness and gratitude towards the organization and everyone who supported her when she was crowned the title, she wrote, “I don’t have the words to express how I’m feeling right now. I’m still in shock, but this reality is sinking in. I am grateful for the opportunity to represent the lovely state of Oklahoma. This is such a dream come true. To everyone who has stood by my side this journey, THANK YOU! “ 

The model continued to say, “I could not have achieved this wonderful dream without my support system. To my family thank you for encouraging me to continue after this crazy dream and pushing me to improve each day. Oklahoma, I’m so excited about being your Miss Oklahoma 2021 and I cannot wait to represent you on the Miss USA 2021 and I cannot wait to represent you on the Miss USA stage here in TULSA this coming November! Let’s go OKLAHOMA!!”

Her consistent determination and hard work finally led her to represent Oklahoma at Miss USA and potentially represent USA at Miss Universe as her main goal seems to be that.

Miss USA 2021 pageant’s finale was finalized with 51 contestants at the River Spirit Casino’s Paradise Cove in Tulsa at 7:00 am on 30 November. The contestants got a chance to learn about the Tulsa Race Massacre while they toured Tulsa’s historic Greenwood district. The contestants were all unknown about the massacre and Miss Oklahoma, Albruena Gonzaque shared she was not taught about the massacre in school and couldn’t imagine the rest of the world knowing about it either.

The diva has shared in one of her posts how confident she is in herself and will perform her best at Miss USA 2021 to win the crown and represent USA at Miss Universe saying, “I am resilient, I am magnetic, I am dynamic. I am flawed. I am still learning. I am still growing. I’m still here. I am ready to embrace this next chapter of life and all that it may bring!”

When Albruena joined her fellow contestants at Miss USA 2021 for Tulsa tour she expressed she felt like one of the hosts and shared, “It’s been wonderful taking my sisters around. I think they’re soaking it up. It’s really important that we learn the truth of our history, and I’m so glad Tulsa could be a place for us to do that. It’s just so powerful walking through those exhibits and feeling the emotions they bring out.” Miss Oklahoma 2021 added, “It’s tragic but also uplifting because you understand how far we’ve come.”
