The death of a former NBA Legend, Kobe Bryant, has cost a considerable price. Reviving the history, Kobe dealing with the rape accusation has come forth again after his death. Concerning the same fact, Abigail Disney accused the late basketball star of being a rapist and sexual offender. She tweeted;

"He was a rapist. Deal with it."

Abigail, an Emmy-winning producer/director, who now is the CEO and President of Fork Films, made a public announcement on late Los Angeles Lakers' star through Twitter on 29 January 2020. Her tweet followed the comment from actress Evan Rachel Wood's comment stating, 'Although Bryant is heralded as a sports icon, he was also a rapist.' The comment is now deleted from Twitter.

However, people came supporting Kobe Bryant, mentioning that his deeds might have been unfair to Abigail, but his (Kobe) wife has lost her husband, and daughters have lost their father. Similarly, Abigail was put to the test to go down the road, educate herself fully on that situation so that she could feel a bit differently.

While many people called her tweet a total disgrace, some responded positively to the heiress of Walt Disney. Comments gathered around, stating that the situation was hard to see Kobe celebrated as a hero when he was a rapist.

The Reason Behind Kobe Being The Target Of Tag 'Rapist'

It's all because of his defense battle against the rape accusations alleged by a nineteen-year-old girl named Katelyn Faber back in July 2003. The case has already been solved for over one and a half-decade; however, it came as a burning issue after the death of Kobe Bryant and his daughter in a helicopter crash on 26 January 2020.

Katelyn, who was an employee at Cordillera hotel, accused Kobe of raping her on 1 July 2003 after being checked into The Lodge and Spa. The incident could be the turn-over point of the late basketball pro; however, Katelyn had refused to testify the trial.

Concerning the accusation, Kobe had admitted that he and Katelyn got involved in a sexual relationship, but it was a conscious bond for both of them.

The case was all closed after Katelyn dropped the accusation in September 2004, but it became bad blood in Kobe's legacy. Interestingly, it came after the death of Kobe.

Concerning the same incident, Abigail, including actress Evan Rachel Woods and other supporters, stood against the homage Kobe acquired after his tragic demise.
