The Day I Became a God (Kami Sama ni Natta Hi) is an upcoming Japanese animation series based on genres like fantasy, drama, and romance. The anime series is going to be produced by P.A.Works and Aniplex.

The story concept was derived, illustrated, and composed by Jun Maeda, with character designing assisted by Na-Ga.

The authors of popular anime series such as Angels Beats!, Charlotte, and Clannad are back with a new innovative anime adaptation. It is a combined project anime adaptation developed between Jun Maeda's Key, Aniplex, and P.A. Works.

On 10 May 2020, P.A.Works, Key, Aniplex hosted a live-stream exhibition to announce that the new anime project titled 'The Day I Became a God' is already under the development process. It is scheduled to release in the upcoming fall of 2020.

The official website regarding this anime project teases the story as:

Hina, who awakened as a god.
She foresaw "the end of the world."
She chooses a lone young man.
Who, as her companion,
Will spend his time with her until the very end

The official website also stated that a special 'prologue' program would broadcast to unveil more information about the anime on May 24 at 8:30 p.m on Tokyo MX.

The official Twitter account of this anime series also unveiled a short teaser depicting the storylines and concepts. A new key visual and trailer have also been revealed regarding this anime series.

The Plot Of 'The Day I Became a God'

The story focuses on a girl named Hina, who awakens herself as a deity.

Being a goddess or deity, Hina foresees a terrible calamity that can end the world. She picks a lonesome boy as her associate, who will spend time with her till the very end.
